50th Anniversary Black Panther Party Shoot

2016, marked the 50th Anniversary of the Black Panther Party. The party was formed on October 15, 1966, in Oakland, California. My wife and I noticed that there was not a celebration or a real recognition of the anniversary, so we decided to honor the event the best way we knew how...a photoshoot.

Instead of dressing up as scary or cliche Halloween characters, we decided to dress up as historical members of the Black Panther Party. We were really proud of this project and the buzz that it generated. With the release of Marvel's Black Panther movie and it being Black History Month, there is no better time to release the project to the world.
